Μια 82χρονη γυναίκα καταγράφηκε σε βίντεο να μπαίνει με το αμάξι της μέσα σε φούρνο της Νέας Υόρκης και οι ρόδες να συνεχίζουν να γυρνούν με το αυτοκίνητο ακινητοποιημένο στον τοίχο.

Η Kathryn Ford ήθελε να πατήσει φρένο, πάτησε όμως το γκάζι και μπήκε μέσα στον φούρνο.

Σύμφωνα με την ανακοίνωση της αστυνομίας, ήταν ο Tom Fron, ο άντρας της ιδιοκτήτριας του καταστήματος, αυτός που έτρεξε και έσβησε το αμάξι.

«Ήταν θαύμα», δήλωσε σε τοπικό μέσο, «εγώ ήμουν στο ταμείο και όλοι οι άλλοι ήταν σε διαφορετικές γωνιές του φούρνου. Συνέβησαν όλα τόσο γρήγορα. Άκουσα το τρακάρισμα και την είδα στη μέση του φούρνου. Είμαστε ευλογημένοι. Ό,τι καταστράφηκε μπορεί να επισκευαστεί».

Crash at Dolce and Biscotti Italian Bakery

24 hours has passed since our bakery accident and we are even more amazed and grateful that my staff and I had many Guardian Angels watching over all of us. The attached video was retrieved today and shows how horrific this was for all. Thankfully, none of us, including the wonderful woman in the car received any serious injuries. The bakery can be rebuilt and we thank you all for your warm wishes, calls of support and kind comments. This mean so much. A special thank you to all the first responders and Quick Response who arrived at the bakery almost instantly, and the NYS Troopers who were just incredible helping us – especially Trooper Meghan Williams. She was outstanding, coming back to the bakery a number of times last night to check on us. Η 82χρονη δεν τραυματίστηκε. Μόνο μία πελάτισσα υπέστη ένα μικρό τραύμα στο χέρι και δέχτηκε επιτόπου τις πρώτες βοήθειες.

Ο φούρνος θα παραμείνει κλειστός για 2 εβδομάδες για τις απαραίτητες επισκευές…
