Οι υποψηφιότητες για τα 96α Όσκαρ 2024 μόλις ανακοινώθηκαν και ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος με το Poor Things «σαρώνει» με 11 υποψηφιότητες. Ανάμεσά τους αυτά της «σκηνοθεσίας» και «καλύτερης ταινίας», ενώ η Έμα Στόουν είναι υποψήφια για Όσκαρ Α Γυναικείου ρόλου και ο Μαρκ Ράφαλο για το Β’ Αντρικό ρόλο, αντίστοιχα.
Στις εκπλήξεις, σίγουρα συγκαταλέγεται η μη υποψηφιότητα της Μάργκοτ Ρόμπι για τη Barbie, παρά το γεγονός ότι η ταινία απέσπασε 7 υποψηφιότητες, με τον Ράιαν Γκόσλινγκ να διεκδικεί το βραβείο για το Β’ Αντρικό ρόλο.
Το Oppenheimer, πάλι, επιβεβαίωσε τις προβλέψεις και είναι ο μεγάλος θριαμβευτής, διεκδικώντας 13 χρυσά αγαλματίδια! Ενώ η ταινία, «Δολοφόνοι του ανθισμένου φεγγαριού» διεκδικούν 10 βραβεία, με τον Ρόμπερτ Ντε Νίρο να είναι υποψήφιος για το Β’ Αντρικό ρόλο και τον Μάρτιν Σκορσέζε να διεκδικεί για 10η φορά το πολυπόθητο Όσκαρ Σκηνοθεσίας.
Τα 96α βραβεία Όσκαρ θα απονεμηθούν την Κυριακή 10 Μαρτίου.
