Χιλιάδες άνθρωποι ντυμένοι ως γοργόνες και άλλα πλάσματα της θάλασσας βγήκαν στους δρόμους του Κόνι Άιλαντ στο Μπρούκλιν το περασμένο Σάββατο, συμμετέχοντας στην Παρέλαση των Γοργόνων.

Η ετήσια παρέλαση πραγματοποιείται από το 1983 το πρώτο Σάββατο που είναι πιο κοντά στην επίσημη έναρξη του καλοκαιριού.
